Preventative Maintenance

Innovative Air provides a “Preventative Maintenance Program” that provides our customers with routine system inspections. Routine inspections can reveal small system issues and typically prevent small problems from becoming more expensive problems later on. No one wants to experience system failures and our expert technicians can help curtail these occurrences by inspecting your system on a routine basis. A/C Tune-Up

The majority of system break-downs and failures can be avoided with proper maintenance. Each cooling season, one of our Certified Technicians will perform a comprehensive 19-point Cooling Tune-Up of your A/C System.

Our annual “Cooling Tune-Up” includes the following: (click to open)
    1. Clean existing air filter (if washable)
    2. Inspect indoor coil, if accessible
    3. Blower Motor – measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
    4. Thermostat – test for proper operation, calibrate and level
    5. Bearing – inspect for wear and lubricate
    6. Refrigerant – monitor operating pressures (up to 2 lbs of refrigerant included)
    7. Inspect Condenser Coil
    8. Inspect Condensate Drain
    9. Electrical Wiring – inspect for safety
    10. Safety Devices – inspect for proper operation
    11. Electrical Disconnect Box – inspect for wiring connections & overheating
    12. Inspect and test capacitors
    13. Test/inspect contractors for burned/ pitted contacts
    14. Inspect service valves for proper operation
    15. Inspect fan blade
    16. Compressor – monitor, measure amp draw and voltage
    17. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
    18. Check operation of circuit boards
    19. Check equipment sub-cooling and superheat
    Heat Pumps (19-point check) plus the following:
    1. Check proper operation of the reversing valve
    2. Test operation of defrost board and adjust if needed
    3. Check operation of heat strips
    4. Test defrost sensor
    5. Confirm operation of solenoid


Heating Tune-Up

Avoid exorbitant energy bills this winter and maintain your furnaces efficiency with an annual “Heating Tune-Up.”

Our 17-point Heating Tune-Up includes the following: (click to open)
    1. Ignition system – test for safe and proper operation
    2. Exhaust system – inspect for proper venting
    3. Thermostat – test for proper operation, calibrate and level
    4. Inspect for combustible material around furnace
    5. Inspect & test all safety devices for proper operation
    6. Measure Supply/Return temperature differential
    7. Clean existing air filter (if washable)
    8. Inspect and test operational controls for proper operation
    9. Furnace Burner – inspect and clean as required
    10. Gas Pressure – measure and adjust for peak efficiency
    11. Blower motor – measure amperage and voltage for proper operation
    12. Lubricate all moving part per manufacture
    13. Heat Exchangers – inspect & clean (as required)
    14. Electrical wiring – inspect and tighten connections
    15. Check combustion blower motor operation
    16. Test gas connections for leaks
    17. Test sequence of operation per manufactures spec
